The actor Boris Michailow gained a foothold in the German silent film from 1919 and in his first year he appeared in the movies "Hungernde Millionäre" (19), "Die nach Liebe dürsten" (19) and "Augen" (19). His last cinematical works came already in the 20s into being. To these productions belong "Die Tarantel" (20), "Moj" (20), "Madame Récamier" (20), "Die fünf Frankfurter" (22), "Der schwarze Pierrot" (26), "Sein grösster Bluff" (27), "Da hält die Welt den Atem an" (27) and "Sturmflut der Liebe" (29). His film career ended with the rise of the sound film.
