Rolf Moebius

. The actor Rolf Moebius attended the acting school of the Staatstheater Berlin. He made his film debut in 1936 with "Traumulus", but for the time being he found his main occupation at the theater. Still he appeared in well-known productions time and again in the next years, so in "Urlaub auf Ehrenwort" (37), "Fanny Elssler" (37) and "Das Gewehr über" (39). He continued his theater career after the war and appeared in movies again from 1949. To his well-known movies of the 50's belong "Die Lüge" (50), "Der Hauptmann und sein Held" (55), "U47 - Kapitänleutnant Prien" (58) and "Aus dem Tagebuch eines Frauenarztes" (59). After that he only appeared seldom in front of the camera. To his last
movies belong "Die tausend Augen des Dr. Mabuse" (60), "Heidi" (65) and
"Die neuen Leiden des jungen W." (76).
