Aribert Mog

The actor Aribert Mog began his film career in the silent movie era with productions like "Der Kampf der Tertia" (28) and "Der Ruf des Nordens" (29).

In the 30's followed the height of Aribert Mog's career. His first talkies were "Westfront 1918" (30), "Die Koffer des Herrn O.F." (31) and "Die Jugendgeliebte" (32).

When he impersonated the lover at Hedy Kiesler's side in the movie "Extase" (33), the movie became a scandal because of some nude appearances of the leading actress - and with it a huge success.

Till the beginnig of the war Aribert Mog took part in other popular procuctions, among them "Ein Mann will nach Deutschland" (34), "Fährmann Maria" (36), "Der Etappenhase" (37), "Musketier Meier III" (38) and "Der Fuchs von Glenarvon" (40).

Aribert Mog died in the first days of the war of aggression agains Russia in 1941.
