The actress Jackie Monnier was a successful French actress who occasionally appeared in German movies as well.
She began her film career in 1926 with "Mon frère Jacques" (26), it followed the movies "Le joueur d'échecs" (27), "La tournoi dans la cité" (28) and "Le bled" (29).
Finally she got her first engagement for a German production for "Drei Tage auf Leben und Tod - Aus dem Lugbuch der U.C.1" (29) at the side of Carl de Vogt, Angelo Ferrari, Fritz Kampers, Jack Mylong-Münz and Charles Vanel.
Her last participation in a german movie was Georg Wilhelm Pabst's "Westfront 1918: Vier von der Infanterie" (30) with Fritz Kampers, Gustav Diessl, Claus Clausen and Else Heller.
Afterwards she took part again in French movies. To these works belong "La revanche du maudit" (30), "David Golder" (31), "Le fils improvisé" (32) and "Rien que des mensonges" (33).
