Otto Lins-Morstadt

. The actor, director and screenwriter Otto Lins-Morstadt joined the film business in 1916 and he impersonated his first film role in "John Rool" (16). In the next years followed few more silent movies like "Totenkopfreiter" (17), "Lejah" (18) and "Die Geier der Goldgruben" (21). He realised his first movie as a director in 1917 with "Totenkopfreiter" (17). Other directed movies followed with "Erzlumpen" (17), "Das Mysterium des Kleinods" (18), "Um 100'000 Mark" (19) and "Die Geier der Goldgruben" (21). For most of his directed movies Otto Lins-Morstadt also wrote the screenplays. After his film career he was active as an author. Otto Lins-Morstadt was among others married with the actress Magda Elgen.
