The actress Ilse Nast appeared in 1929 in movies for the first time for the productions "Die Frau, die jeder liebt, bist du!" (29), "Der Sittenrichter" (29) and "Die Nacht gehört uns" (29).

Her last cinematical works came already in the 30s into being with "Das Rheinlandmädel" (30), "Brand in der Oper" (30), "Der Stumme von Portici" (31), "Annemarie, die Braut der Kompanie" (32), "Traum von Schönbrunn" (32), "Mutter und Kind" (34) and "Elisabeth und der Narr" (34).
