. The actor Fritz Neumann-Schüler made his first acting experiences at the theater before he entered the film business in 1917. In his first movies he impersonated the figur of Krümelchen in several movies, among them „Unser Krümelchen“ (17), „Spitzenchristel“ (17) and „Krümelchen weiss sich zu helfen“ (18). He continued his film career in the 20s and he took part in the productions „Das goldene Vliess (20), Fritz Lang's „Der müde Tod“ (21), „Der falsche Prinz“ (22), „Der letzte Mann“ (24) directed by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau, „Klettermaxe“ (27) and „Orientexpress“ (27). His film career came to an end with the rise of the sound film in the 30s. Only in Fritz Lang's classic „M – Eine Stadt sucht einen Mörder“ he played a small role once more.
