The actress Edith Oss began her film career on the big screen in 1935 where she took part in the movies "Punks kommt aus Amerika" (35) and "Liselotte von der Pfalz" (35).

She became established in normally support roles in the next years, among them in "Der andere Mann" (37), "Menschen, Tiere, Sensationen" (38) and "Wir tanzen um die Welt" (39).

In the 40's followed well-known productions like "Der Kleinstadtpoet" (40), "Frauen sind doch bessere Diplomaten" (41) and "Floh im Ohr" (43).
After the war she only appeared in few more movies, so in "Leckerbissen" (48) and "Einmal am Rhein" (52).
