The cinematographer Georg Paezel began his film career already in 1912 and in the next years he was a cinematographer of documentaries and movies.

To his first cinematical works belong "Weihnachtsfreund und -leid" (12), "Die Dame in Schwarz" (12), "Der schwarze Diamant" (13), "Raum ist in der kleinsten Hütte" (13) and "Der Herr der Welt" (13).

In the next years he shot the silent movies "Lepain, der König der Unschuldigen" (14), "Los vom Weibe" (19), "Geheimbund der Falken" (20), "Die Höllenmaschine" (20) and "Das Detektivduell" (21).

Afterwards he only took part in documentary projects, among others he was a cinematographer for a boxing match of Hans Breitensträter and in the 30s he was active as a sound film engineer.
