Katja Pahl

The actress Katja Pahl was born as Käthe Charlotte Pahl in Berlin.
 
At the age of 17 she made her film debut with "Drei Mäderl um Schuber" (36) directed by E. W. Emo.
 
In the next years she took part in other productions like "Die wirkliche Liebe" (37), "Gasparone" (37), "Gastspiel im Paradies" (38), "Das Mädchen von gestern Nacht" (38), "Liebelei und Liebe" (38) and "Ich bin gleich wieder da" (39).
 
Her last cinematical works came at the beginning of the 40's into being with "Mein Mann darf es nicht wissen" (40), "Eine Stunde" (40), "Alle Männer sind Lumpen" (41), "Menschen im Sturm" (41) and "Ein Windstoss" (42).
 
Katja Pahl was married with the doctor Hans Behnke and had a daughter with him. The family emigrated to Venezuela in 1950 and moved to the USA in 1956. She died there in Los Angeles at the age of 92.
