1905 - 1996

He made his film debut in 1935 with "Letzte Liebe" (35) and till the end of war followed productions like "Fräulein Lilli" (36), "Burgtheater" (36) and "Nanon" (38).

He continued his theater career after the war also appeared in front of the camera time and again. To his post-war movies belong "Der Engel mit der Posaune" (48), "Semmelweis - Retter der Mütter" (50), "Zu viele Köche" (61), "Professor Bernhardi" (64) and "Was Ihr wollt" (73).

His sons Nikolaus and Stephan Paryla followed his footsteps and went on the the tradition of acting.
