. The actor Reinhold Pasch belonged to the German film pioneers whose first appearances in front of the camera can be backdated to 1912. To his first movies belong "Der elektrische Funke" (12), "Mobilmachung in der Küche" (14), "Frauen, die sich opfern" (16), "Menschen, die durchs Leben irren" (18) and "Narrentanz der Liebe" (19). In the 20's he concentrated often on the stage, he only took part sporadically in movies. To these movies belong "Der Fluch der Menschheit" (20) and "Ihr letzter Tanz" (21). With the rise of the sound film Reinhold Pasch went to the USA where he took part in several movies. To these productions belong "Mothers Cry" (30), "Broken Lullaby" (32), "The Man from Yesterday" (32), "Ann Vickers" (33), "Madame Spy" (34) and "The Black Room" (35). After his return to Germany he continued his film career with support roles for movies like "Der Kaiser von Kalifornien" (36), "Condottieri" (37), "Tango Notturno" (37), "Der Berg ruft" (37), "Sergeant Berry" (38) und "Liebesbriefe aus dem Engadin" (38), in doing so he often acted at Luis Trenker's side. In the 40's and 50's followed the productions "Der Feuerteufel" (40), "Komödianten" (41), "Carl Peters" (41), "Der grosse König" (42), "Torreani" (51), "Heimliche Ehen" (55), "Vor Sonnenuntergang" (56) and "Menschen im Hotel" (59). To his last cinematical works belong "Herrin der Welt" (60) and "Sturm
im Wasserglas" (60).
