The actor Max Pategg normally acted on stage where he was successful for many years.

In 1923 followed his only appearence in front of the camera for the production "Friedrich Schiller" (23) where he impersonated the role of Johann Kaspar Schiller under the direction of Curt Goetz. To his co-stars belonged Theodor Loos, Hermann Vallentin, Ilka Grüning, Robert Leffler and Rudolf Klein-Rhoden.
