. The actress Lydia Pollmann only acted sporadically in front of the camera in the 30s. Her first cinematical appearance was in „Liebling der Götter“ (30) with Renate Müller, Emil Jannings, Olga Tschechowa, Hans Moser and Eduard von Winterstein. Afterwards she impersonated the role of Dodo in Georg Jacoby's „Geld auf der Strasse“ (30) at the side of Georg Alexander, Franz Schafheitlin, Rosa Albach-Retty, Hans Moser, Hermann Thimig and the then unknown Hedwig Kiesel who made her film debut. Her last performance in front of the camera was for „Das schöne Abenteuer“ (32) directed by Reinhold Schünzel with Käthe von Nagy, Wolf Albach-Retty, Alfred Abel, Ida Wüst, Adele Sandrock, Otto Wallburg, Hilde Hildebrand and Jullius Falkenstein. Lydia Pollmann played the role of Jeanne. |
