The actor Harry Payer took part in few silent movies of the 20s like "Unter der Knute des Schicksals" (21) and "Das Mädel aus der Hörichsmühle" (28).

He continued his career with the rise of the sound film but his appearances in front of the camera remained seldom.
To his other movies belong "Geld auf der Strasse" (30), "Ich will Dich Liebe lehren" (33), "Die Perle von Tokay" (54), "Fidelio" (56) and "Die unentschuldigte Stunde" (57).

Besides his activity as an actor he also realised the movie "Hundert Jahre Wiener Operette" (59) as a director.
