. The actress and singer Loni Pyrmont was born as Margarete Else Leonie got acting lessons at the Schauspielhaus Berlin before she entered the film business in 1919 with „Die Japanerin“ (19). In the silent movie era of the 20s followed other cinematical works with „Der Stolz der Familie“ (21), „Vorzeitgespenster“ (21), „Die schwarze Schachdame“ (22), „Son sind die Männer“ (23) and „Adam und Eva“ (23). In the next year she acted a last time in front of the camera for the productions „Das Spiel der Liebe“ (24) and „Das schöne Abenteuer“ (24). Beside her career as a movie actress she was also a busy operetta singer but also appeared in numerous theater plays, among others at the Rose-Theater in Berlin at the side of her second husband, the actor Hans Rose. Loni Pyrmont was first married with the actor Alfred Krafft-Lortzing. |
