The actor Rudolf Raab began his film career in 1916 and he only took part in few movies during his career.
In his first movie "Der verhängnisvolle Überzieher" (16) he played the role of Wamperl at the side of Lina Bach and Fritz Daurer.
It followed the movies "Heiraten Sie meine Tant?" (18) and "Der Schwerverbrecher" (18).
He appeared in few more movies during the 20s like Josef Berger's "Um Recht und Liebe" (23) with Rolf Pinegger, Hanni Reinwald, Josef Berger and Mary Brandt and "Taras Bulba" (24) with Oscar Marion, J.N. Douvan-Tarzow, Clementine Plessner and Alexander Polonsky.
It lasted till 1938 before he acted a last time in front of the camera again.
His only sound film was "Fahrendes Volk" (38) directed by Jacques Feyder with Hans Albers, Françoise Rosay, Camilla Horn, Hannes Stelzer, Irene von Meyendorff, Alexander Golling, Aribert Mog and Hedwig Wangel. I nthis movie he played the staff manager of the department store.
