The actor Josef Rehberger appeared in 1916 in front of the camera for the first time in "Bogdan Stimoff" (16).

Three years later followed his next movie with "Störtebeker" (19).

In the 20s followed other movies, among them the productions "Uriel Acosta" (20), "Die Dame in Schwarz" (20), "Das Geheimnis der Mumie" (21), "Der Unheimliche" (22), "Die weisse Wüste" (22) and "Die Ehe einer Nacht" (27).

It followed a longer interruption before he returned to the film. In the sound film era of the 30s he took part in few more movies like "Unsichtbare Gegner" (33) and "Salto in die Seligkeit" (34).
