. The actress Claire Reigbert began her acting career at the theater where she soon became a popular actress. She made her film debut in 1915 with the silent movie "Der Strumpf" (15). Afterwards followed only few more silent movies like "Feenhände" (16), "Ein toller Abend" (16) and "Der verkaufte Schlaf" (16) before she continued her film career in the 30s. To her first talkies belong "Abschiedswalzer" (34), "Die törichte Jungrau" (36), "Inkognito" (36), "Fünf Millionen suchen einen Erben" (38) and "Die fremde Frau" (39). During wartime she appeared in movies like "Achtung! Feind hört mit!" (40), "Der Weg ins Freie" (41), "Die goldene Spinne" (43) and "Immensee" (43). She continued her career at the theater after the war and in 1947 she
also gained a foothold in the film business again with "Wozzeck" (47).
