The actress Maria Reisenhofer was especially in the 20's often engaged for the big screen.
To her first movies belong "Schuld und Sühne" (09), "Die goldene Krone" (20), "Christian Wahnschaffe 1. Teil: Weltbrand" (20) directed by Urban Gad, "Anna Boleyn" (20) as Lady Rochford at Henny Porten's side, "Marie Antoinette" (22), "Menschenopfer" (22) with Alfred Abel and a still unknown Hans Albers, "Junges Blut" (26) at Lya de Putti's side as well as "Der alte Fritz - 2. Teil: Ausklang" (28) with Otto Gebühr in the title role.

In the 30's came only few more movies with Maria Reisenhofer into being, to these movies belong "Der Page vom Dalmasse-Hotel" (33) directed by Victor Janson and "Es war eine rauschende Ballnacht" (39) directed by Carl Froelich.

The actress Maria Reisenhofer was married with the actor Albert Patry.
