. The Yugoslav actress Ita Rina was born as Ida Kravanja in Slovenia. She began her film career at the the age of 20 with the German silent movie "Wochenendzauber" (27). Thanks to her charisma she soon was employed for further productions. To her silent movies belong "Zwei unterm Himmelszelt" (27), "Das letzte Souper/Der Schuss in der grossen Oper" (28), "Wilde Ehen" (29) "Erotikon" (29) and "Die Schande" (29). The sound film era reduced her activity in Germany and Ita Rina subsequently commuted back and forth between Germany and her home country Yugoslavia. She appeared in movies like "Wellen der Leidenschaft" (30), "Kire lained" (30), "Das Lied der schwarzen Berge" (32), "Fantom durmitora" (32), "Na plavom Jadanu" (37) and "Zentrale Rio" (39). Later on she retired from the film business.
