Gustav Rodegg

. The actor Gustav Rodegg gained a lot of acting experiences at the theater before he entered the film business from 1918. In "Das Lied der Colombine" (18) directe by Emil Justitz he played the role of the musician Gustav Körner at the side of Fritz Achterberg, Hans Albers and Olga Engl. It followed "Der fliegende Holländer" (19) and "Das schöne Geheimnis" (19). In the 20s he took part in several movies directed by Gerhard Lamprecht like "Hanseaten" (25) with Fritz Alberti, Frida Richard and Werner Pittschau, he played Eberhard, Baron von Schranden in "Der Katzensteg" (27) and as Minister Graf Hertzberg he took part in the two-piece production "Der alte Fritz" (28) with Otto Gebühr, Julia Serda and Elsa Wagner. Gustav Rodegg also wrote the script for the movie "Gigolo" (30). |
