. The actress Else Roscher belonged to the numerous young actresses who were able to gain a foothold in the still young film business of the 10s. Her first movie was "Ein Frauenherz" (14), it followed "O diese Männer" (15). From 1916 she became a busy actresses in numerous entertaining movies and she impersonated roles in "Im Dienste der Wissenschaft" (16), "Die Glücksschmide" (16), "Die Wunderlampe des Hradschin" (16), "Der Günstling" (17), "Der Verräter" (17), "Der Kampf um die Ehe" (19), "Tropengift" (19) and "Der Skandal im Viktoria-Club" (19). Her film career came to an end at the beginning of the 20s and she took part in only few more movies. To these works belong "Hexengold" (20), "Die Siegerin" (20), "Opfer der Liebe" (21) and "Durch Liebe erlöst" (21). Besides her activity as an actress she also wrote the script for the movie "Frühlingsrausch" (19). What happened to her after her film career is unproved.
