. The actress Carla Rust began her film career in the middle of the 30's and worked regular in movies till the end of war. Her first movie was "Der lachende Dritte" (36), it followed the movies "Madame Bovary" (37), "Frau Sylvelin" (38), "Liebesbriefe aus dem Engadin" (38) and "Robert und Bertram" (39). She continued her career during wartime and took part in the movies "Der rettende Engel" (40), "Der Verteidiger hat das Wort" (44) and "Ein fröhliches Haus" (44). The engagements for movies dropped off after the war. She only took part in the movies "Die schöne Müllerin" (54), "Johannisnacht" (56) and "Der Adler vom Velsatal" (56), after that she retired from the film business. Carla Rust was married with the actor Sepp Rist.
