. The actress Clara Salbach was very busy at the theater in the first place. She already made her stage debut in 1880 at the Hoftheater in Weimar. It followed engagements in Mainz, Leipzig and Dresden. There she remained active till 1932 before she retired. She only took part in movie in her whole career. In the production "Der galante König - August der Starke" (20) directed by Alfred Halm she played the role of Kurfürstin Mother at the side of Harry Halm, Eva Speyer, Rudolf Basil, Ria Jende and Paul Wiecke. |
