. The actor Werner Scharf made his film debut in 1929 with "Ins Blaue hinein" and he became established as a support actor in well-known productions of the 30's. To his most popular movies of the 30's belong "Unmögliche Liebe - Vera Holgh und ihre Töchter" (32), "Ein idealer Gatte" (35), "Unter heissem Himmel" (36), "Sherlock Holmes und die graue Dame" (37), "Madame Bovary" (37), "La Habanera" (37), "Sergeant Barry" (38), "Dreizehn Mann und eine Kanone" (38) and "Bel Ami" (39). During wartime he was able to take part in other successful produktions like "Stern von Rio" (40), "Friedemann Bach" (41), "Münchhausen" (43), "Titanic" (43), "Akrobat Schööön! (43) and "Kolberg" (45). When World War II drew to a close Werner Scharf, who was drafted to
the Volkssturm in 1944, was killed on April 30, 1945 at the age of 40.
