The actress Betty Sedlmayr launched a brief but busy film career in the 30's. She made her film debut with "Nischt geht über die Gemütlichkeit" (34).

In the next years she took part in the productions "Die Töchter Ihrer Exzellenz" (34), "Der junge Baron Neuhaus" (34), "Regine" (35), "Endstation" (35), "Der Student von Prag" (35) and "Patrioten" (37).

During World War 2 she only appeared in two more movies, "Der Sündenbock" (40) and "Violanta" (42).

After the war she first worked for different stages before she made her comeback in 1974 with "Das Land des Lächelns" (74). It was also her last appearance in front of the camera.

Betty Sedlmayr died at a great age of 100 years.
