Annemarie Sörensen

. The actress Annemarie Sörensen took part in some German productions in the 30's. She began her film career with the movies "Die Schlacht von Bademünde" (31) and "Die verkaufte Braut" (32). In the next years she appeared in well-known movies like "Ein Unsichtbarer geht durch die Stadt" (33), "Heinz im Mond" (34) and "Rendezvous im Paradies" (36). Because Da Annemarie Sörensen was a halfway Jew she had no future in Germany. She had to give up her film career and flew to England where she got married with Johnny Henderson. But the impact of World War II did also not spare Annemarie Sörensen. Her brother who hid in Berlin lost his life in one of the last bomb attacks and her husband was killed in action during the war against Germany. Later she got married with Michael Colefax with whom she lived for the
remain of her life in England.
