. The actor Louis Soldan learnt his acting abilities at the acting seminar of Dr. Beer. At the age of 20 he already made his film debut with "Operette" (40), it followed the movies "Der kleine Grenzverkehr" (43), "Der zweite Schuss" (43) and "Junge Herzen" (44). He successfully continued his film career after the war, at the same time he also was regularly engaged at the theater, among others in Graz and Vienna. To his well-known movies after the war belong "Der Hofrat Geiger" (47), "Franz Schubert" (53), "Um Thron und Liebe" (55), "Husarenmanöver" (56) and "So ein Millionär hat's schwer" (58). Louis Soldan remained active as an actor till to his death, his last
appearances in front of the camera came into being for "Alles gerettet"
(63), "Der keusche Lebemann" (68), "Frühstück im Büro" (70)
and the serial "Die Abenteuer des braven Soldat Schwejk" (72).
Louis Soldan died in 1971 at the age of only 51.
