. The actor and director Robert Staerk entered the film business in 1919 when he realised the Yugoslav production "Dama sa crnom krinkom" (19) as a director. It lasted till 1928 before he was active again in the film industy, this time as an actor. He impersonated only few roles in front of the camera, to these works belong "Ein Lieb, ein Dieb, ein Warenhaus" (28) with Karel Stepanek, Colette Brettel, Harry Gondi and Rudolf Klein-Rhoden, "Die Jagd nach der Million" (30) with Luciano Albertini, Gretel Berndt, Elza Temary, Ernst Verebes and Harry Hardt as well as Carl Boese's "Theoder Körner" at the side of Willy Domgraf-Fassbänder, Dorothea Wieck, Lissy Arna, Ludwig Trautmann, Ferdinand von Alten, Carl Auen and Julius Brandt. |
