. The actor was born as Roderich Eberhard von Jung-Stilling. He appeared only in few movies and his career was restricted to the silent movie era. To his first movies belong "Der Schicksalstag" (21) directed by Adolf E. Licho with Mady Christians, Karl Beckersachs, Ilka Grüning, Eugen Klöpfer and Albert Paul and Alfred Halm's "Das zweite Leben" (21) with Grete Reinwald, Max Pohl, Margarete Kupfer, Hermann Vallentin, Heinrich Schroth and Ilka Grüning. Afterwards followed the productions "Der schwarze Montag" (22) at the side of Emil Albes, Emil Heyse, Erich Kaiser-Titz and Hella Moja, "Kinder der Zeit" (22) with Paul Hartmann, Mady Christians, Ludwig Hartau, Paul Bildt and Wilhelm Bendow as well as "Liebesgeschichten" (25) with Olga Tschechowa, Hans Thimig and Claire Rommer. In his last movie "Anastasia, die falsche Zarentochter" (28) directed by Arthur Bergen he impersonated the role of the grand duke Dimitri. To his co-stars belonged Lee Parry, Hans Stüwe, Theodor Loos, Olga Engl, Camilla von Hollay, Max Landa and Gerhard Dammann. |
