. The actor Fritz Steidel (also Steidl) appeared in few movies during the silent movie era. He impersonated the role of Rudolf in his first movie "Homunculus, 5. Teil: Die Vernichtung der Menschheit" (16) directed by Otto Rippert with Olaf Fönss, Friedrich Kühne, Theodor Loos and Aud Egede Nissen. It followed the production "Der keusche Josef" (17). His last cinematical works came in the 20s into being with "Trick-Track" (21) with Charlotte Ander, Henry Bender, Carl Geppert and Ida Perry as well as Felix Basch's "Das Mädel auf der Schaukel" (26) with Ossi Oswalda, Harry Liedtke, Lotte Lorring, Olga Engl and Albert Paulig. Fritz Steidel died one year later at the age of 59. |
