The actress Ilse Stobrawa began her film career already in the silent movie era.
To her first cinematical appearances belong "Der Biberpelz" (28), "Schneeschuhbanditen" (28) and "Der Kampf der Tertia" (29).

She was able to continue her career in the talkies of the 30's where she took part in movies like "Revolte im Erziehungshaus" (30), "Der Tanz ins Glück" (30), "Der Traum vom Rhein" (33), "Hier irrt Schiller" (36) and "Hurra, ich bin Papa!" (39).

Her film career diminshed slowly during wartime, to her last cinematical works belong "Lauter Liebe" (40), "Diesel" (42) and "Du gehörst zu mir" (43).
