The actress Lu Synd was only active for a short time in the German silent film. Although she appeared on the stage by the majority she also took part in some popular movies between 1916 and 1919.

To her well-known movies ot the 10's belong "Leben um Leben" (16), "Nächte des Grauens" (16), "Unsichtbare Hände" (17), "Europa postlagernd" (18), "Ferdinand Lassalle" (18) and "Verlorene Töchter" (18).

Besides her activity as an actress she also produced some movies like "Sündenlust" (19), "Die Rache des Bastards" (19), "Margot de Plaisance" (19) and "Der Bastard" (19) and impersonated the leading roles in it at the same time.

Lu Synd was married with the actor Aruth Wartan.
