. The Asian actor Henry Sze grew up inn Shanghai and he left China at the age of 19 and went to the USA. There he studied engineering in Syracruse. He went to Germany in 1917 where he worked as a designing engineer before he gained a foothold in the German silent movies in 1919 and he made his debut with "Die Herrin der Welt" (19). In the 20's followed his last cinematical works, among others he took part in "Kurfürstendamm" (20), "Die Trommeln Asiens" (20) and finally he impersonated the leading role in the production "Die Sonne Asiens" (20). After "Zalamort" (24) at Fern Andra's and Magnus Stifter's side he retired
from the film business.
