. The actress Ilse Rose-Vollborn first worked as a stage actress before she entered the film business in 1933 with the movie "Der Jäger aus Kurpfalz" (33) with Theo Lingen and Fritz Kampers. She continued her cinematical career in the next years successfully and took part in productions like "Der Mann mit der Pranke" (35) with the great Paul Wegener, "Die selige Exzellenz" (35) in the role of the princess, "Moral" (36) with Joe Stöckel and Fita Benkhoff, "Annemarie" (36) with Gisela Uhlen and the premature deceased Victor von Zitzewitz, "Donner, Blitz und Sonnenschein" (36) with the legendary comic duo Karl Valentin and Liesl Karlstadt, "Kinderarzt Dr. Engel" (36) with Paul Hörbiger and Viktoria von Ballasko, "Gewitterflug zu Claudia" (37) with the idol of the public Willy Fritsch and Olga Tschechowa, "Zwischen den Eltern" (38), again with Willy Fritsch, the musical "Es leuchten die Sterne" (38) and "Die Frau ohne Vergangenheit" (39) with Sybille Schmitz. Ilse Rose-Vollborn died at the age of 63 in 1974 by a stroke.
