The actress Hanna Waag began her film career already in 1929 with the movies "Die Ehe" (29) and "Das brennende Herz" (29).

In the talkies of the 30's she experienced the height of her career. To her well-known movies belong "Der Mörder Dimitri Karamasoff" (31), "Walzerkrieg" (33), "Lady Windermeres Fächer" (35) and "Der Hund von Baskerville" (36).

After that she retired from the film business.

She was married with the production designer Rudolf Bamberger who died in a concentration camp in 1945.
