The actor Hans Wallner began his career on stage where he not only appeared as a singer but also as an actor and director.
He got first engagements in Aussig, from 1914 he acted on stages in Berlin.

There he soon got in touch with the film business and he impersonated his first movie roles in the same year for "Lepain, der König der Unschuldigen" (14) and "Lepain, der Kampf mit dem Meisterdetektiv John Hawks" (14).

Other movies of the 10s were "Arme kleine Eva" (18), "Vom Schicksal erdrosselt" (19) and "Retter der Menschheit" (19).

In the 20s followed other silent movies with "Der Schieberkönig" (20), "Die Hand des Würgers" (20), "Lepain, der König der Verbrecher" (20), "Die goldene Pest" (21), "Familie Schimeck" (26) and "Der moderne Casanova (28).

In the sound film era of the 30s he impersonated roles in "Er oder ich" (30), "Jonny stiehlt Europa" (32), "Theodor Körner" (32), "Verliebtes Abenteuer" (38) and "Die goldene Maske" (39).

His last cinematical works came in the 40s of World War II into being with "Nanette" (40), "Bal paré" (40), "Das leichte Mädchen" (40) and "Auf Wiedersehn, Franziska!" (41).
