The actor and singer Marcel Wittrisch was a very popular tenor in the 20's and 30's whose voice deligthed the audience.
He had his greatest successes at the German Staatsoper in Berlin.

Thanks to his huge popularity one became aware of this charismatic man at the beginning of the talkies and he took part in some movies in the next years.
To his movies belong "Das Lied ist aus" (30), "Liebling der Götter" (30) and "Es war einmal ein Walzer" (32).
