The actor Victor von Zitzewitz was only active for a short time for
the German film business.
He began his cinematical career in 1935 with the movie "Der Student
von Prag" (35) where he took part at Adolf Wohlbrück's, Dorothea Wieck's
and Theodor Loos' side.
In the movie "Der Bettelstudent" (36), directed by Georg Jacoby, he
impersonated a small role as a Polish studen. The stars of this movie were
Marika Rökk, Johannes Heesters and Carola Höhn.
His last movie came also in 1936 into being with "Annemarie", in which
he impersonated his first leading role as Klaus Renken who was killed in
the war as a war volunteer.
His film partner was Gisela Uhlen as his girlfriend Annemarie, other
actors were Paul Bildt, Margarethe Schön and Elsa Wagner.
Victor von Zitzewitz died at the age of only 34 in Karlsbad. |
