. The director and screenwriter Georg Zoch began his artistic career at the theater where he appeared as an actor from 1926. From 1933 he wrote regularly screenplays for movies and in the next years he worked for the productions "Der Zarewitsch" (33), "Pipin, der Kurze" (34), "Der Vetter aus Dingsda" (34), "Der Himmel auf Erden" (35), "Befehl ist Befehl" (36), "Blinde Passagiere" (36), "Sein bester Freund" (37), "Pat und Patachon im Paradies" (37) and "Nanon" (38). He continued his activity as a screenwriter during World War II and he wrote the scripts for "Der Vorhang fällt" (39), "Der dunkle Punkt" (40), "U-Boote westwärts!" (41), "Jenny und der Herr im Frack" (41), "Kohlhiesels Töchter" (43) and "Die Degenhardts" (44). He also began to realise movies as a director from 1933, among them "Schwarzwaldmädel" (33), "Alles hört auf mein Kommando" (35), "Ein Lied klagt an" (36), "Weltrekord im Seitensprung" (40) and "Der dunkle Punkt" (40). Besides his activity as a screenwriter he also wrote some plays like "Jenny und der Herr im Frack" (40), "Gans du hast den Fuchs gestohlen!" (42), "Ein Mann für meine Frau" (43) and "Eine Uhr schlug dreimal" (43).
