The actor Robert Agnew was able to gain a foothold in the American
silent movie business in 1920 and he impersonated numerous roles in the
next years.
To his first movies belong "The Sporting Duchess" (20), "The Hightes
Law" (21), "Passion Flower" (21), "Clarence" (22), "Bluebeard's Eight Wife"
(23), "The Spanish Dancer" (23), "Wine of Youth" (24), "The Denial" (25)
and "The Great Love" (25).
He continued his film career in the second half of the 20s and he appeared
in many productions, among them "The Taxi Mystery" (26), "Wandering Girls"
(27), "She's My Baby" (27) and "The Midnight Taxi" (28).
With the rise of the sound film his film career diminished and he only
appeared in few more movies.
To these movies belong "French Kisses" (30), "Hold the Baby" (30),
"The Love Bargain" (31) and "Little Man, What Now?" (34).
