The actor Marsh Allen (in fact Henry Marsh Allen) was primarily busy at the theater, first in England, later in the USA too where he also worked on Broadway time and again between 1903 and 1922. 

To his well-known stage appearances belong "Mrs. Deering's Divorce" (03), "The Skin Game" (20), "The Married Woman" (21), "The Exciters" (22) with Tallulah Bankhead and "The Romantic Age" (22).

He only appeared seldom in movies. 
After his first movie "Island Jess" (14) he also impersonated roles in the productions "Mary Girl" (17) with Margaret Bannerman, "Thelma" (18), "Towards the Light" (18) with Henry Edwards and Chrissie White and "Forgive Us Our Trespasses" (19) with his wife Mary Marsh Allen.
