The actress Mary Anderson already joined the film industry in 1914 and already at the beginning of her career she took part in numerous movies.

In the second half of the 10s she took part again in many movies, among them "La Paloma" (16), "Sin's Penalty" (16), "Her Loving Relations" (16), "The Last Man" (16), "One Good Turn" (17), "The Road to Eternity" (17), "The Divorcee" (17), "His Birthright" (19), "The False Faces" (19) and "The Hushed Hour" (19).
 
Her film career diminished in the 20s, to her last cinematical works belong "Vanishing Trails" (20), "Bluebeard, jr." (22), "Wildness of Youth" (22), "The Four Orphans" (23) and "Enemies of Children" (23).
 
Mary Anderson was married with the cinematographer Pliny Goodfriend.
