The actor Lawrence Anderson began his film career in 1920 with "The Tavern Knight" (20). In the next years he took part in other silent movies, among them "Innocent" (21), "Bluff" (21) and "The Actors's Squad" (27).

Anderson was able to continue his screen career in the 30s and he
impersonated support roles in the movies "Threads" (32), "The Right to
Live" (33), "Nell Gwyn" (34), "The Case for the Crown" (34), "Marry the
Girl" (35), "Royal Eagle" (36), "Gangway" (37) and "Magyar Meody" (39).
He died at the age of only 46 in 1939.
His son Michael Anderson became a well-known director, his grandchild Michael Anderson jr. became an actor too.
