. The actor Randle Ayrton was well-known as a stage actor primarily but he also took part in well-known movies. He made his film debut with "Profit and the Loss" (17), other movies were "My Sweetheart" (18) and "The Hanging Judge" (18). In the 20's he appeared in some popular movies beside great stars of that time, to these movies belong "The Wonderful Year" (21), "Decameron Nights" (24) with Lionel Barrymore, "Nell Gwynne" (26) with Dorothy Gish, Alfred Hitchcock's "The Manxman" (29) and "The Feather" (29) with Mary Clare. His last cinematical works came in the 30's into being with "Comets" (30), "Dreyfus" (31), "Jew Süss" (34) and "Debt of Honour" (36).
