. The actress Hilda Bayley began her film career in 1918 with "Sisters in Arms" (18). In the next years followed other movies like "Under Suspicion" (19), "The Barton Mystery" (20) and "Carnival" (21) with Ivor Novello. One of the played scenes between Novello and Bayley was so passionate that the scenes had to be cut out later. Other silent movies were "Flames of Passion" (22), "The Scandal" (23) and "Die Abenteuer G.m.b.H." (29). In the sound film followed other engagements but the number of her appearances
in front of the camera kept small. So Hilda Bayley took part in the productions
"Under a Cloud" (37), "Much Too Shy" (42), "Home Sweet Home" (45), "Bond
Street" (47), "Golden Arrow" (49) and "Madame Louise" (51).
