The producer Samuel Bischoff realised in his career more than 400 movies
which were released between 1922 and 1964.
After his education he went to Hollywood in 1923 where he produced first
short movies.
Finally the boss Arthur Cohn became aware of him and engaged him for
Columbia Pictures.
To Samuel Bischoffs first movies for this studio belong "Mixed Nuts"
(23), "Racing Luck" (24), "Spooky Spooks" (25), "Account of Monte Cristo"
(25), "Alibi's Forty Thieves" (26), "Sumuru" (27) and "Code of the Air"
(28).
In the 30's he went to Warner Bros. where he was responsible for movies
like "Phantom Thunderbolt" (33), "Fargo Express" (33), "Heat Lightning"
(34), "Babbitt" (34), "Murder in the Clouds" (34), "The Irish in Us" (35),
"Special Agent" (35), "Frisco Kid" (35), "Kid Galahad" (37), "San Quentin"
(37), "A Slight Case of Murder" (38) and "The Roaring Twenties" (39).
He 1941 he returned to Columbia and produced again numerous movies,
among them "A Night to Remember" (43), "Appointment in Berlin" (43), "Mr.
District Attorney" (47), "Intrigue" (47), "Outpost in Morocco" (49), "The
Las Vegas Story" (52), "Macao" (52) and "Screaming Eagles" (56).
He produced his last movies in the 60's with "Operation Eichmann" (61)
and "The Strangler" (64).
