. The actress Alice Wilson alias Alice Browning was born as Alice Rae in O'Fallonn. She got married with the director Tod Browning in 1911 and five years later she made her film debut with "The Children in the House" (16) directec by Chester & Sidney Franklin with the movie star Norma Talmadge. After an appearance in "A Love Sublime" (17) directed by her husband followed engagements for different directors, to these movies belong "The Face in the Dark" (18), "The Eyes of Julia Deep" (18) and "La belle Russe" (19) with Theda Bara. In the 20s came her last cinematical works into being with "The Willow Tree" (20), "The Little Wanderer" (20), "Payment Guaranteed" (21) and "Silk Stocking Sal" (24).
