1882 - 1933

The actor Clarence F. Burton began his acting already at the age of five years and in the next years he tookk part in road productions. In 1913 he entered the film business and was able to launch a very busy film career.
In his first years he took part in movies like "The Girl Back East" (13), "The Head Hunters" (13), "The Girl and the Tiger" (13), "The White Squaw" (13), "The Werewolf" (13), "The Flash of Fate" (14) and "The Man Within" (14).

In 1915 there came a whole film serial into being called "The Hazards of Helen", which increased his popularity even more. The leading role was played by Helen Gibson.

Till the end of the 10's he impersonated roles in "The Dynamite Train" (15), "The Haunted Station" (16), "The Girl Who Dared" (16), "The Twinkler" (16), "New York Luck" (17), "Beauty and the Rogue" (18), "The Return of Mary" (18), "The Last of the Duanes" (19) and "Male and Female" (19).

He successfully continued his career in the 20s and he took part in the productions "The Fighting Chance" (20), "Forbidden Fruit" (21), "The Lost Romance" (21), "The Ordeal" (22), "Manslaughter" (22), "Adam's Rib" (23), "The Ten Commandments" (23), "The Navigator" (24), "The Road to Yesterday" (25), "Shipwrecked" (26), "The King of Kings" (27), "Chicago" (27), "Submarine" (28), "The Younger Generation" (29) and "Dynamite" (29).

At the beginning of the 30s came his last cinematical works into being with "The Unholy Three" (30), "Behind the Mask" (32) and "The Sign of the Cross" (32).

Clarence F. Burton died at the age of 51 in 1933.
